Here is a real life hack I learned while living in a rented house! I was frantically searching YouTube🧐 wondering if there was a way to install a light fixture right where a recessed light used to be, without nails or pushpins, so it wouldn't be noticeable. That's when I discovered the item called a flange💡 You just remove the recessed light, and the flange has a lever on it. Just insert the lever into the hole, and you're done!! The diameter of the recessed light hole in my house was 11.5 cm, which is on the larger side. The flange diameter had to be at least 12 cm just to barely cover it, but since the Hanji light is light, I was barely able to install it... The technician said that it actually needs to be 1 or 2 cm larger than the hole diameter for safety ㅠㅠ Sharing this great tip...
