#WhatHappenedDuringRemodeling There were countless trials and errors during the interior renovation, but the biggest issue was the windows. I hated glass that had a green tint, so I had decided that if I ever underwent interior renovation, I would definitely use clear glass for the windows. So, when discussing the window installation with the contractor, I insisted that I wanted clear glass, and I even double-checked it the day before the work began. However, when I went to inspect the windows after the installation, the exterior windows were installed with green glass. I was so shocked that I called him, only to find out that what the contractor meant by "clear" was actually green glass, while what I meant by "clear" was regular glass. He explained that since almost no one chooses regular glass, he assumed that my "clear" naturally meant green glass... I can never forget the anger and frustration I felt when the part I valued most went awry. Fortunately, we agreed that the contractor and I would split the cost 50/50, and we proceeded with the glass replacement. If you, like me, dislike the green tint, I hope you will make sure to double-check! #WindowFrame #Sash #Window #WindowTips
