#리모델링하다생긴일 Our home interior diary is back with the demolition episode 📝 I did fulfill my dream of a duplex, but how to utilize the duplex space was the homework left to me. The first impression I got when I came to this house was ‘suffocating.’ The space under the stairs is cramped, and since there was even a door, it felt like a cave, and its usability was low. Also, the stairs leading up to the second floor were steep and narrow, so that was suffocating too... that japchae…! So, after a long, long meeting with the owner 💬 We decided to completely demolish the stair wall to create a sense of openness, and utilize the space under the stairs 100%! So, even though it is a small space, we decided to make the most of every nook and cranny to create Naye’s own ‘small library’! After demolishing it like that, the second floor opened up wide as a bonus, creating a beautiful view 😆😆 This look was so pretty that I debated a hundred times whether to use a railing or glass, and how to make the most of it, and ended up getting more gray hairs in the process. 👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻 That’s all for today’s interior diary!
