We removed the door between the living room and the kitchen and installed custom-made storage cabinets in the space where the dining table used to be. The inside of the cabinets isn't very organized, but as someone who isn't good at tidying up, I like that I can store a lot of things in a space out of sight. I created a space in the middle for tissues and wet wipes.
