My girlfriend asked me to decorate her room as she started living on her own, so I really put my skills to use. I wanted to create a warm, vintage, and comfortable atmosphere with a natural wood feel. I added a vintage touch with moderately reddish rugs and pillow covers. Although not pictured, the low-saturation mustard cushions and faded mint(?) cushions also matched quite well. I separated the bedroom from the closet with a partition, and placed a storage bench at the guest dining table to maximize space and accommodate multiple guests. I thought it would be better to have a screen to block the view rather than having the living room visible as soon as you enter, so I installed a screen to separate the kitchen from the living room.
