Top-floor Older Apartment, Summer Electricity Bill Revealed ☀️ This is the summer electricity bill for our family of two, living in a 19-year-old, 33-pyeong (approx. 109 sq m) apartment on the 30th floor, facing southwest. It usually comes out to around 50,000 to 80,000 won. We use a 2012 Samsung 2-in-1 air conditioner; we use the floor-standing type in the living room during the day and the wall-mounted type in the master bedroom at night. Since it faces southwest, the sunlight is quite strong during the midday, so we always close the curtains and run the air conditioner during that time. It seems that closing the curtains reduces the heat coming into the house a little.
