This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 program. I have been a heavy user of food waste disposers since their early days. When the Dokkaebi Clevo was first released, I was very curious because the price was in the 200,000 won range (the average price for food waste disposers on the market is around 500,000 to 600,000 won...). I will focus on the downsides I found inconvenient while using existing food waste disposers. ☑️ Compact Size and Clean Design As anyone who has purchased a food waste disposer knows, they are typically very bulky and heavy. In particular, the depth at the back is deeper than expected, making it difficult to place unless you have ample internal space. This product has significantly reduced volume, making it convenient to place anywhere. On top of that, the design is really sleek, and it doesn't feel cheap at all when you actually receive it. With intuitive lighting colors, a display, and sound, it is designed more beautifully than any other product from other companies, so unless someone tells you, you probably wouldn't know it is a food waste disposer. ☑️ Relatively Inexpensive Consumables Food waste disposers are surprisingly expensive for filter and inner pot replacement costs, to the point where you might wonder if they are just selling consumables. In particular, it is best to replace the filter frequently, but most existing products require you to replace the entire filter case, which is quite a burden. This product features a thoughtfully designed open-type filter, so you only need to purchase and refill the internal activated carbon, making it less of a financial burden. ☑️ Equipped with Essential Convenience Features One thing I found lacking when using existing products that only offered drying and grinding functions was the lack of a 'storage' function. However, when such convenience features are included, the price tends to go up... This product has a storage function, allowing you to store waste without worrying about odors, and since you can set a timer, it runs automatically even if you forget. Additionally, the convenient 'Quick' function! The food waste disposer runs longer than I expected, so it's a bit awkward to run it when there isn't much food waste. However, since it has a quick mode, I just use it when dealing with small amounts of food, and it works perfectly! ☑️ Seamless Drying/Grinding Even when compared to other brands, the drying and grinding functions don't lag behind at all. It grinds food waste well without clumping, and since the grinding is quite fine, the volume of the waste is significantly reduced, making disposal very convenient :) Overall, it is a truly well-made product.
