A lot happened during the bathroom remodeling. Now that the construction is finished, I can finally shake it off. There are so many contractors in Jeju, and while there are likely many good ones, the ones that are good tend to be expensive. My husband and I tried to save as much money as possible by getting quotes from several places, and some even quoted 100 million won. We ended up with a contractor that was a gamble, but my husband was convinced that we wouldn't get scammed. The carpenter owner was so nice that I was sad to part ways with him, and I was very grateful to the site manager for his overflowing passion. Of course, there were difficult parts, challenging moments, and times when we were annoyed with each other, but we successfully completed the construction. My construction tip is that my meticulousness was essential. Since it is the house I will be living in, I have to check everything even more thoroughly. That way, there won't be any defects once we move in, and even if there are, it seems like we'll have to fix them less. For the common area bathroom, we initially planned to use brick walls, but due to the small size, we finished it with semi-brick walls and a glass partition. My husband, who had insisted on 2-inch lights, eventually concluded that they were a bit too dim, but he exclaimed, "It's great because the dirt is less visible!"
