You ask what my favorite piece of furniture is? (But please be warned, reading this might raise your blood pressure) It’s probably the sofa I practically lie down on every day, right?🤣🛋️ Actually, before I bought this sofa, I saw a similar design at a home furnishing expo. Since they said I could custom-order it in the color I wanted, I ordered a mid-range sofa in yellow.💛 They said it would take about 3 weeks, but even after a month passed, it still hadn't arrived, so I contacted them... 👤 Furniture store: “We don’t have that order?” 🙋‍♀️ Me: “……What?🙂” So, feeling dumbfounded, I asked them to check, and they told me to hang up for a moment. Then, a whole hour later, they called back and... 🗣️ Furniture store employee: “Customer! You said you would come to the store to see it and make a decision again!” 🙋‍♀️ Me: “What?🤨 What are you talking about? I live in Mokpo, so I can't go all the way there. I told you I'd just sign the contract as is! I told you so! Clearly!😑” After a long argument, they finally admitted there was a mistake and said they would remake and send it to me. So I waited again. They said it would take 3 to 4 weeks this time, so I just endured it... 😮‍💨 I waited like that, and even after about a month and a half passed, there was still no contact, so I called them... and it was a spectacle. 🗣️ Furniture Store: “Customer! I couldn't sleep because of you and even went to the factory in China!” They got angry, and it was absolutely dumbfounding. 🙋‍♀️ Jjorom: “……😳 (Because of you?)” I was seriously furious at that remark. I mean... if production looks like it's going to be delayed, they should just say, “It is being delayed a little!” Couldn't you have just said that one thing in advance? 🥲 I was truly dumbfounded as to why I was the one getting scolded. In the end, I waited for over two months, and even though I told them I couldn't trust them anymore and asked them to cancel, 👤 Furniture Store: “We cannot cancel because the custom order has already started.” They said that. When they told me it would take another two weeks, I got really angry, and then suddenly they finished production and said they had shipped it. So I couldn't trust them, 🙋‍♀️ Me: “Then at least send me the shipping receipt.” But they refused to send that until the very end, saying they would definitely send it within 10 days. Then my friend said: 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 My Friend: “Hey… isn't that sofa just a display model and you just added a yellow cover to it? 😨 Since this is such an untrustworthy company, do you think I'll be able to get proper after-sales service later!” Hahahaha, now that I think about it, I guess that could actually be true. In the end, I felt like I really couldn't wait any longer, so 🙋‍♀️ Me: “I’m going to post this everywhere—on apartment communities, social media, and everywhere else—to let people know!🔥” And only then did I get the contract canceled and the deposit refunded.😮‍💨 Ha... I really felt like the time I spent waiting for over two months was such a waste.🥹 And I was so angry that I was browsing Today's House when I found this sofa right here. But guess what? It was one-third the price of the sofa I originally intended to buy!!😳💸 The design is similar, but the price is much better, and most importantly, based on my experience using it so far… I'm super satisfied, absolutely satisfied! Haha I found a super-affordable sofa, a real bargain!💛 It's a bit of a shame that the color is a light grayish-beige, but since it's only one-third the price of the sofa I originally planned to buy, this is no big deal... I really snagged it at a super cheap price anyway lolololol. And now that I've been using it for over a year and it's working so well, I actually feel like it was a relief that there was such a fuss about that sofa not arriving back then lololol. Isn't life all about turning misfortune into fortune?🤣 But...
