To maximize space in our small house, we placed a bunk bed in the area that doubles as a living room and bedroom. After installing blinds in the bunk space, it has become quite cozy, almost like a separate room. Since it is a double size, we use the upper section as the master bedroom and the lower section as a family study. We use the smaller room as the kids' room.
