#리모델링하다생긴일 I went through all sorts of things while remodeling, but I still can't forget the French door color incident… 😂 I had the door frames covered with adhesive film and the doors painted, but the moment I saw the finished doors the contractor brought, “...Is this really the same color?” The French doors I had envisioned were a beautiful single tone where the frame and the door blended naturally, but the doors that actually arrived were a completely different color. In the end, I had a huge argument with the contractor, and begged them to resolve it somehow… The conclusion was that I had to hire a paint company myself, to find a color as close as possible to the door frames, and repaint them. I wondered if matching a single color was ever this difficult, I compared samples over and over again, and barely managed to find a similar shade. The French door was finally completed after many twists and turns. But that wasn't the end of it. They didn't even install the doorknob and completely cut off contact. 🙂🙂🙂 In the end, I figured that out myself too. I can laugh about it now, but back then, it was a moment where I genuinely thought, "Why am I paying my own money to go through all this trouble?" 😂 Still, in the end, it turned out as close as possible to the color I wanted, so now it is one of my favorite doors in our house. Remodeling is really... It looks romantic when you only see the beautiful finished product, but once you know the process, it's a survival story. 😂
