Since moving them would require tearing down the wall again, it is really important to visualize the furniture placement and decide on the locations well in advance! Once I tore down the wallpaper, I found the walls were heavily damaged by mold and moisture. It looked fine on the outside, so I didn't realize it, but once I actually tore down the wall, the scope of the repairs expanded, extending both the budget and the construction period. It has been a series of unexpected events, but it is truly rewarding to watch our home transform as we solve them one by one. I think the most important things are to prepare thoroughly and to take your time and enjoy the process!
