Since it was my first time remodeling... there were bound to be some twists and turns. 1. Because it is an older apartment building, the walls weren't perfectly flat, so they warped after the wallpapering. I wondered if the problem was the insulation installed behind the wallpaper. At first, I was upset that the baseboards and wallpaper weren't finished neatly, but now that I've put furniture in and am living here, it doesn't bother me much. 2. Worries about kitchen space in an older apartment 🤔 It gave me a headache trying to fit both a dishwasher and an induction cooktop into a small kitchen. I agonized a lot over whether to go with an L-shaped kitchen or a face-to-face layout. However, the interior designer strongly recommended a face-to-face layout, so I ended up with the kitchen of my dreams before I knew it. Living here, I realized that a small island in an L-shaped kitchen would have been nice too. 3. That... glass is really expensive. Since the window frames weren't considered very old models, I didn't proceed with replacing them. I seriously debated whether to install window frames in the master bedroom because of this glass pattern. Now, I'm living frugally, trying to save money. 4. Middle door. Many people told me that 3-panel sliding doors are the way to go for a small house, but that didn't appeal to me. In the end, I went with double swing doors, and I'm still satisfied with them even now, haha. I'm also very happy with the frosted glass. 5. Endless minor defects appearing... Since remodeling involves overhauling the entire house, I guess it's unavoidable, haha. There are parts I overlooked and parts that were repaired, but living here makes me too lazy to bother, so I end up just ignoring them...
