It wasn't a bed that perfectly suited my taste from the start. As someone who likes white, the wood-colored bed my roommate used felt a bit unfamiliar to me at first, and honestly, I didn't like it. However, since it is the space we spend the most time in together, I gradually grew fond of this bed before I knew it. Come to think of it, living with someone means that you can't simply stick to your own taste. As we live together, our different tastes naturally blend, and as I grow fonder of my roommate's taste, I find myself growing to resemble theirs before I know it. Perhaps that is why this bed, which embodies my roommate's taste, has now become familiar to me and I am growing to love it more and more. Especially when the sunset streams into our west-facing home and the warm light falls upon the wood-colored bed, it looks much prettier than I expected.
