I did a complete DIY remodel of the kitchen, too! I removed the upper cabinet doors before moving in! While living here, I painted the upper and lower cabinets pink first, changed the handles, painted the tiles, and then repainted the countertops that didn't match! The tile paint hasn't peeled off and is great!! It was really hard to raise and lower the water purifier while doing the DIY interior work in the middle of living here 😂 The tile paint dried much faster than I expected, so I had to apply it one more time, but it had already hardened and was getting a thick, cakey finish...? So I ended up buying several cans; I used one once, threw it away, and then opened a new one for the second coat! It was a Pink & Butter concept, but since the only range guards available were white, I refurbished the range guard as well! The pink range guard is so pretty💖 I was much more satisfied with the open-plan kitchen because I placed a dish cabinet that looked like a low base cabinet to separate the space into a U-shape! #WhatHappenedDuringRemodeling
