Thoughts on Scissors (?) ✂️ Since cooking is my hobby, pretty tableware and cutlery are important, but I also think that actually preparing ingredients is just as important. Things like cutting boards, knives, scissors, and frying pans. It just so happens that I’ve been getting a new pair of scissors once a year since getting married, so I decided to gather them up! I bought the Neoflam ones at Daiso. It’s a brand I trust and use for a long time, and honestly, given the accessibility and price at Daiso, I think they’re just unbeatable for kitchen scissors, haha. The Mudita scissors were my first all-stainless steel pair. I bought them on a buy-one-get-one-free deal and gave one to my parents. They’re pretty, have weight to them, and I fell in love with the charm of all-stainless steel, but my fingers hurt so much if I cut for a long time with them. It’s really nice that they don’t rust, and the blades last a long time. I’ve been using the Tramontina scissors the longest—for 5 years now. Actually, I didn't know they were a brand and thought they were just cheap scissors, haha. Anyone, adults and children alike, can use them comfortably, but maybe because I run the dishwasher often?? I can see a slight rust forming in between. This is my first time getting a Heriter, and It feels a bit heavy, so it definitely feels high-end. The fact that it doesn't require polishing compound removal makes it a good gift, too. Since the blades separate, it will be convenient for putting in the dishwasher.
