We handled the entire renovation, from demolition and carpentry to insulation, the kitchen, two bathrooms, flooring, wallpapering, electrical work and lighting, window film, interior doors, and the master bedroom balcony door. What I considered most important during the remodeling was to eliminate unnecessary items and allocate the budget to the areas I considered important. I like clean and empty spaces, so I kept the dressing room to just one built-in wardrobe and omitted the vanity. For the entrance, I installed a shoe cabinet on only one side and placed a hanging bench on the opposite side. I also leveled the recessed ceiling and the empty walls to remove as much clutter as possible. Instead, I spent a little more on the parts I considered important. For the wallpaper, I selected LX Diamant; for the flooring, Brush Wide Misty Oak; and for the bathroom, I chose the built-in faucet I had always wanted. The kitchen was completed with engineered stone (Hanssem HE 12 Denver) countertops and Euro 700 Grace Warm Cotton doors. What I realized while preparing for the renovation of an older building is that deciding what to keep and what to remove based on your daily lifestyle is just as important as choosing beautiful materials. If your home doesn't have much storage space, I recommend considering the amount of items you actually use and your movement patterns first, rather than blindly increasing the amount of cabinets. We also completed the current space of our home by making selections one by one based on our lifestyle and personal taste.
