My living room only has two downlights, and I rarely even turn them on. Sunlight is enough during the day, but once the sun starts to set, I find it better to turn on small lights one by one, here and there. I didn't plan to collect lights one by one from the beginning, but as I lived here, lights ended up all over the house before I knew it... I guess my obsession with lighting is similar to my obsession with plants. I definitely have enough, but whenever I see something pretty, I see a spot for it again. Recently, I went to IKEA and brought home another Viklby based on my husband's strong recommendation(?), and I'm satisfied because it fits in the living room better than I expected! I like the living room with sunlight coming in during the day, and I like the living room with only small lights on at night... Maybe that's why the atmosphere of the house seems to change several times throughout the day.
