As colorful baby items accumulate, it is easy for a home to become cluttered, but I decorated our home with a clear concept: [Minimal / Easy to Clean / White & Greige]. 1. Clean Tone & Manner: White & Greige * I unified the base of the entire living room with warm white and subtle greige tones. * Matching the colors of the curtains, sofa, and mat to reduce visual clutter creates the effect of making the house look much more spacious. 2. 'Easy to Clean' Layout Utilizing Storage Boxes and Walls * Baby items that are easy to scatter on the floor (diaper changing stations, toys, books, etc.) were placed in wall cabinets or clustered together to maximize the 'exposed floor surface.' * Since the floor is open, it is really convenient to use a robot vacuum, and cleaning is finished quickly with just one sweep of the mop. 3. Minimalist Safe Space: Creating a Large Mat * In the center of the living room, we laid a clean, solid-colored mat with minimal gaps to create a safe zone where the baby can crawl around freely. * We also carefully matched parenting items like the baby gym and bouncer in neutral or off-white tones so as not to break the minimalist atmosphere.
