However, many people warned me that there was a chance of future problems, and since our main bathroom is smaller than the master bathroom, realizing my dream was difficult. Due to budget constraints, we ended up with a standard bathroom. Actually, the most important thing when remodeling is choosing the right contractor, right? I inquired with many places and received consultations, but most of them charged extra fees for just one thing I really wanted to do. For the main bathroom, excluding material costs, the tile installation, plumbing installation, and the cost of the brick tiles next to the bathtub alone came out to an additional 300,000-400,000 won. I went ahead with the project after the tile shop I found through hard work introduced me to their plumbing and tile teams. However, there are teams that will handle the work without any extra costs if you come separately. The main bathroom was just perfect! I went with the basics, but feeling a bit unsatisfied, I added white faucets, a towel rack, and a toilet paper holder to suit my taste. The shelves in the bathroom were so messy, so I installed a shower head with a shelf, the kind used in shower stalls. It's good for placing things on, but it falls a bit short aesthetically. 😢 It was surprisingly inconvenient not having a mirror while showering, so I bought a shaving mirror from IKEA to attach, but one arrived broken, so there is no shaving mirror in the main bathroom again. The kids' towel rack is also from IKEA; it's great value for money and super, super good to use. 👍 The only downside to the main bathroom is the sliding mirror cabinet. I tried to utilize the existing product. Since I'm just upgrading the size within the same apartment, I fitted the storage trays to fit the existing bathroom cabinet. I figured if I was going to buy something similar anyway, I might as well recycle and save money! I did it. Due to a mistake by the demolition team, the cabinet in the main bathroom was thrown away, and since the cabinet from the master bathroom remained, I thought, "This should fit, right?" However, since the master bathroom in this house is longer, it didn't fit... In the end, I ordered a sliding cabinet and hung it up as a temporary solution, but since I was going to spend the money anyway, I slightly regret not getting a prettier one. 😢 Also, the tiled drain is really pretty, but it is difficult to clean. 🤣
