I created a space in a corner of the baby's room where they can read and play. The books are visible at a glance, and there is ample storage. I designed it so that the child can pick out the books they want to read themselves, and play with magnets right next to them. Reading, playing, and then reading again. The usability of this small corner of the wall has increased dramatically. By placing a full-length bookshelf and a Doit Board side by side—which fit perfectly in height and width—I found that reading and playing could flow naturally within the same space.
