#리모델링하다생긴일 We started the remodeling, tore down the bathroom ceiling, and began the construction. My husband discovered a tiny leak that even the contractor had overlooked 🥹 It was truly a tiny leak, just pooling and dripping one drop at a time..! Fortunately, perhaps because we had greeted the upstairs neighbors with gifts before the construction, we were able to reach an agreement. The contractor advised that since we had already torn down the ceiling, it would be cheaper to fix it now, so we proceeded after consulting with the upstairs neighbors. 1. Called a contractor to find the cause and tried applying silicone sealant to the upstairs neighbors -> Failed; it remained the same. 2. Proposed leak insurance to the upstairs neighbors and agreed to proceed with the repairs if the leak worsened in the future. Fortunately, it was fine for 6 months, and the previous tenant said they had no issues either!
