I used to be unable to answer when asked what my hobby was, but these days I say it's the time I spend brewing coffee in the morning ☕ It's been a few months since I got my Breville, but the shots still turn out differently every time. It's fun to see how the taste changes drastically with just a one-notch grind adjustment, a 0.5g change in bean quantity, or a difference of a few seconds in extraction time, so I've been trying out slightly different things every morning. Today, I wasn't sure about the result, but once I poured it into milk, it tasted delicious. The best part of this hobby is that even if you fail, it still turns into a latte 🖤 Lately, I've been using Alegria (ACR) Mary Jane beans. It's a house blend of Ethiopia, Costa Rica, and Colombia, and it has a nutty and sweet flavor when combined with milk, so I keep buying it on hand for lattes. It turns out it doesn't have to be a grandiose hobby.
