Those of you who have been following us for a long time will know that this isn't the bed Taeo used to use. That made me even more careful in my selection. I wanted a bed that isn't just for sleeping, but one that becomes a sofa, a playground, and a reading spot during the day. I lowered the height to the lowest level and opened one side, and my child started climbing up and down on his own. Just like Taeo, who jumps down to play in the morning and climbs back up by himself at night saying "This is my bed," I was told to use it locked in place without wheels for safety when he climbs up and down on his own, so I have it firmly set up in a corner of the living room now. Thanks to that, it is stable and doesn't wobble whether he holds on or leans against it. I realized that a crib isn't just furniture; it's like a first home that teaches a child, "You have your own space." Although we got this crib when he was 25 months old, I have a feeling we will be together for even longer because of that :)
