#WhatHappenedDuringRemodeling 🥹 Lighting Interior Design I Satisfied With After Spending Money Twice 💸✨️ When we moved in, we had all the indirect lighting installed in warm white. I was satisfied because the cozy atmosphere looked really pretty when the lights were on at night, but once we actually started living here, I began to notice a few things that were lacking. It felt like the colors didn't match our home's interior, which is mainly white and light gray tiles. Especially during the day, it looked too yellow, so it wasn't pretty, and its usability dropped significantly 🥹 On top of that, since we only installed a single strip of warm white for the recess lighting, we had to remove the main light to install the ceiling fan, so additional lighting work was required... So, we replaced the existing single strip of recess lighting with a double strip, changing the colors to Cool White + Total Cool White! For the indirect lighting, we changed it to a clean and bright Cool White overall 💡 The ceiling fan played a big part in changing the atmosphere of the house, but the lighting color really made a big difference. (They say lighting is the flower of interior design! 🤍) Doesn't the house definitely feel much more sophisticated and brighter? Plus, I was a little worried that the lighting might be lacking with just the recessed lights, but it was actually bright enough that I didn't even need to turn on both rows at once.
