I believe that even without any special construction, simply adding a partition wall, changing the lighting, or swapping out a single small accessory can sufficiently transform the atmosphere of a space. I personally installed mosaic tiles on the island countertop to create a small, signature home café unique to our house, and I also installed a ceiling fan myself to add another layer of change to the space. Home styling involves adding what is needed for the current space, one by one, rather than trying to change everything perfectly from the start. It is about incorporating my taste little by little, with the mindset that I can always return it to its original state someday.
