A low-profile bed frame chosen to fit a larger bed into a small room 🛏️ Since the space is small, I felt that if I brought in a tall frame or one with a headboard, the queen-size bed would overwhelm the room. The biggest advantage of this low, headboard-less frame is that it doesn't make the space look cramped even with a queen-size bed placed inside! The low black table next to the bed is a piece of furniture I designed and had custom-made myself when I first moved into this house in my early twenties. Since it is a piece of furniture I cherish, I couldn't bring myself to get rid of it, which presented a challenge given the layout of my small room. The option of a headboard-less, low-profile frame was perfect for someone like me! I matched the oak-colored frame with black bedding and stacked my favorite books and decorative items next to the bed.
