#리모델링하다생긴일 Wallpapering Edition! From the moment I first moved in, there was one wall that particularly bothered me. At first, I thought they were just small bumps with cement dust embedded in them, but it turned out to be a problem with the plastering itself. Others said they couldn't tell, but seeing that wall every day, I kept seeing it. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ (Is there something wrong with my eyes? 👀) In the end, I had to tear off the wallpaper, grind down the wall, re-plaster the cracked parts, and wallpaper again... However, interior renovations don't finish cleanly in one go as you might expect. Since the renovations were done while I was living in the house, not only were there dust and noise issues, just when I thought the work was finished, another problem would arise, from coordinating schedules with the contractor, and the process of checking the results and making adjustments again... Cleaning is so hard ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Even fixing a single small defect required more time and heart than I expected. It took almost two years to get this one wall right. I didn't like the dull gray wallpaper either, so I tore off the perfectly good new wallpaper and changed it to white. A few months later, the wallpaper started tearing and wrinkling from the bottom, so I had to re-wallpaper it. Looking back, there were so many ups and downs, but now, just looking at this white wall makes me feel at ease for no reason. I think interior design really is all about the fine line. I wasn't aiming to create a perfect home, but at least I wanted to give it a comfortable feeling when I looked at it.
