What Happened During Remodeling I chose ivory, but the walls turned yellow. 😳 For this renovation, I opted for paint instead of wallpaper. I chose a very light ivory, almost white, but I was shocked when I visited the site after the painting was finished. “Uh… this isn’t the right color?” I wondered if it was just the lighting, but no matter how I looked, the yellow tint was too strong. Upon checking, I found out the contractor had applied the wrong color. 🥲 Since the entire wall was already painted, I was quite flustered at first. Fortunately, the contractor immediately admitted their mistake, rescheduled the work, and repainted the entire wall in the color I had originally chosen. I felt a bit uneasy about the wall being painted once and worried that it might look like a repaint, but the result was truly flawless. It was finished neatly in the bright ivory I wanted, and I’ve been living here without any issues ever since. After remodeling, I realized that it is really important to double-check the colors being applied on-site before starting the work.
