When they first said they wanted to buy a Pokemon Pokedex at the bookstore, I hesitated a lot about whether I should actually spend the money on it. But they wanted it so much that I had no choice but to buy it for them, and they really enjoyed reading, looking at, and copying the text on their own. That’s when I realized it once again: buy whatever your child likes, as long as it’s not bad. Thanks to that, without being told to, they opened the book on their own and started writing on the white paper.
