At first, I used tape that peeled off cleanly, but one time, I unknowingly used poster stickers, and the wallpaper tore in several places, creating a total mess. 🥲 It was a vicious cycle: I tried to cover up the torn parts by putting up more frames and posters, only to tear the wallpaper again... I gradually became cautious about even putting up a single poster, and my home decorating started to feel restricted. On top of that, food splatters were subtly stressful. I initially looked into partial wallpapering, but I stumbled upon pre-pasted wallpaper on Coupang. I thought, "With this, I can wallpaper by myself." Fortunately, the existing wallpaper was laminated, so I could apply it directly over it without peeling it off. I pressed it down firmly with a scraper I bought at Daiso, and it wasn't as difficult as I thought. I wasn't a professional, so I was worried I might be making things worse for no reason. However, once I actually finished applying it, it turned out much neater than I expected, and I felt so proud—it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. 😃 I bought 20 sheets of wallpaper for 42,000 won, including shipping, and used about 18 sheets for one 4-pyeong room.
