#리모델링하다생긴일 Since it is an older apartment building over 30 years old, there were many places that needed fixing during the remodeling. I thought we only needed to fix our unit, but the people living on the floors above and below us have been there since we moved in. Because they lived there without doing much repair, the pipes were old and worn out, causing water to leak into our bathroom, boiler room, and veranda. While working on the shared bathroom first, the contractor discovered the leak coming from the upstairs apartment. The upstairs neighbor came down to check where and how much water was leaking. Then, when they took apart the master bedroom bathroom, they found that it was leaking just the same. We mentioned this to them, but the upstairs neighbor told us to leave it alone, saying that the landlord didn't know about the leak in the master bedroom and that they would only work on the shared bathrooms. 😤 My husband happened to take a brief break to visit the site, but they said that without knowing we were the landlord...
