Kitchen Film Installation Part 1 | Confidence Made Things Worse 😂 After trying to install the kitchen film myself and seeing that the results were better than expected, I gained confidence before I knew it. “Huh? I’m actually pretty good with film?” So, this time, I decided to try applying film to the walls as well. However, the wallpaper was uneven and I didn't like it. The moment I peeled off the film to re-apply it… The silk wallpaper came off along with it. 🫠 Eventually, after removing all the wallpaper, I found it was a cement wall. But the cement was also uneven, so I couldn't apply the film like this. So, I ended up starting the process of putty → sanding → putty → sanding. I started just to apply a single film, but somehow, I ended up doing the wall leveling work myself. 😂 Especially when sanding, putty dust flew all over the house, and even with a mask on, it felt like I was chewing dust in my mouth… I thought to myself dozens of times, “Why did I even start this?” But since I’ve come this far, I decided to see it through to the end. In the end, I made the wall as smooth as possible, applied primer, and completed the film installation! I never imagined the confidence I gained from the kitchen film would make me tear off the wallpaper as well. 😂 However, thanks to all this struggle, the film-covered wall I wanted is finally complete. (Putting and sanding were not jobs just anyone could do.
