I really love the time I spend reading and organizing my thoughts at pretty cafes. However, when I actually try to spend a day like that, I end up spending most of my time finding a spot I like, traveling there, settling in, and getting used to the atmosphere. As a result, there is hardly any time left to actually immerse myself in the book. So, I decided to turn my home into that kind of space. I put on a reading playlist on the TV, turn on the lights, pick up a book, and sit on the sofa—that is it. Ten seconds is all it takes to get ready. What I wanted wasn't the pretty cafe itself, but time to reflect on myself and recharge. Therefore, I thought it was much better to have a space prepared inside my home in advance, rather than going out to find one.
