As always, the weekend flies by in the blink of an eye. Soothing my lingering regret, I sit in the second-floor living room—much calmer and quieter than the first floor—and capture the scenery of this Sunday evening. As I quietly gaze at the soft light falling from the high ceiling, I am reminded once again of the effort I put into installing the lighting, even going so far as to climb a ladder. It is a night filled with a sense of inward pride, as it feels as though the fruits of my labor have fully permeated the space.
