🌿🌼 Freesia Bulbs, Preparing for Spring 🪴 It is the day to harvest freesia bulbs. I waited a little longer to harvest them because I wanted the soil in the pots to dry out, so many of them have already sprouted. I carefully dug out the bulbs from the soil and gently brushed off the dirt with a soft brush. I just lightly brushed off the soil rather than washing them thoroughly. After letting them dry sufficiently in the shade and breeze for a few days, I plan to store them in a well-ventilated place. Then, when November comes, they will go back into the soil. They will likely bloom into beautiful flowers around February after passing through the winter. I look forward to the lovely yellow flowers, and I am already looking forward to the fragrant scent of freesias. They are small bulbs now, but in a few months, they will become beautiful flowers that bring spring and decorate a corner of our home's interior.
