#가전플렉스 #가전플렉스챌린지 While moving into our new home and doing the interior decorating, we either threw away or sold off our old appliances. Since these were appliances purchased as part of our wedding dowry, they had been around for 10 years, so it was impractical to bring them into our new house. Because buying appliances from a single brand offers the biggest discounts, we visited multiple branches of both Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics to deliberate our options. Although people say LG is the best for appliances... we ultimately decided to purchase from Samsung Electronics. Unless you experience the functionality firsthand, it is difficult to base your decision on that before buying; I think the biggest factor was the design. Overall, Samsung Electronics appliances had a simple yet luxurious feel. The items we purchased include a TV, four system air conditioners, a single-door refrigerator/freezer/kimchi refrigerator, a one-body washer/dryer, an AirDresser, a direct-drainage robot vacuum cleaner, a dishwasher, and a built-in oven... That makes a total of eight items. The robot vacuum cleaner and oven were purchased separately. To leave brief reviews for each item: 1. TV : I remember this being probably the most expensive appliance. I was originally considering the Serif TV, but once I actually visited the store, I was drawn to the resolution. Since it has an anti-reflective screen, I can watch comfortably even when sunlight comes in during the day. Looking back now, I regret not getting the 85-inch model, as they say, "the bigger, the better." Haha. 2. System Air Conditioner : This is the newly released Infinite System Air Conditioner. I chose this one because the design is more sophisticated and attractive than the previous model. It also emits soft lighting. It's a lifesaver this summer. 3. Single-Door Refrigerator/Freezer/Kimchi Refrigerator : I couldn't feel any difference between the 4-door refrigerator and the one I used to have. Since I was buying something new anyway, I wanted a different feel, and above all, I liked the spaciousness of the single door. I was also drawn to the design. During installation, Samsung Electronics did a great job matching the lines with my kitchen furniture, completing a clean and neat interior. However, the refrigerator capacity is small. Even though we don't have a lot of ingredients at home, it is still small. So, I store kimchi and smelly side dishes in a kimchi refrigerator. (That is why sometimes there is a thin layer of ice on the side dishes… ^^;) 4. One-Body Washer/Dryer : I debated a lot between the combo and the one-body models, but since I heard that the combo is still in the settling-in phase, I purchased the one-body. I am satisfied with how it works. I like the color too. Since I am not very tall, it is a little difficult to take laundry out of the dryer haha. 5. AirDresser : I hesitated because it seemed like a bit of a luxury item, but it has really improved my quality of life haha. It is great because it provides deodorizing and drying effects when I put clothes that are too awkward to wash in it. I recommend it! 6. Direct Drain Robot Vacuum Cleaner : After experiencing a wet mop robot vacuum cleaner at my previous house, I could no longer mop by hand. And since my house has gotten bigger, it has become an essential item. There were many famous products like Roborock, but comparing them one by one was tiring... Just then, Samsung Electronics released a direct-drainage robot vacuum, so I purchased it. Since I bought it via subscription, they said they would send consumables every three months... I just can't live without this little guy... My old mop cleaner was so quiet that the noise is a bit of a concern, but I'm grateful that it cleans for me. 7. Dishwasher : I hesitated because this felt a bit like a luxury item, but what would I have done if I hadn't bought it...? You have to do a basic pre-wash before putting the dishes in, but it saves me a lot of effort and dries them automatically, which is great. It's a bit of a hassle to take the dishes out and organize them after washing, so sometimes I just use it like a storage cabinet, haha. It is an item I am very satisfied with. 8. Built-in Oven Since baking is my hobby, I needed an oven, but having a separate oven and microwave felt like a burden. I did look at lightwave ovens that combine both functions, but none of them had designs I particularly liked, and the capacities were all smaller than I expected. I really wanted to buy a Miel oven, but... Since I had already spent so much, I reluctantly purchased Samsung Electronics. The dial-type controls are a bit inefficient to operate, but I have no major complaints regarding the design or functionality, so I am satisfied. That concludes my review of the home appliance flex. While renovating, I realized that home appliances are an integral part of the interior design. That is because the aesthetic aspect can no longer be ignored. Since these are such wonderful devices that improve my quality of life, I have no regrets about this flex haha.
