#리모델링하다생긴일 ThingsHappenedDuringRemodeling #마지막 Part 3 For the turning door leading from the living room to the veranda, I removed only the door panel and had carpenters create a space for the glass blocks. I personally ordered the glass blocks, calculated the dimensions, and provided them to the carpentry company... But when I went to the site, something seemed off. They had clearly prepared a space for the glass blocks, but to me, it looked... too narrow. It turned out I had given them the wrong dimensions. Originally, they were supposed to fit three rows of glass blocks, but I had mistakenly provided dimensions that would only fit two rows... Since the carpentry work was already finished, I felt too bad to tell the company again, and I was fidgeting anxiously on the site alone, until I finally spoke to the project manager. “Um… I think I gave you the wrong size…” 😭 Fortunately, even though the schedule was tight, the carpenters redid the work for me, so I was finally able to adjust it to the size I wanted. I was really sweating profusely back then… lol While remodeling, I had to place orders myself, check the sizes, and relay them to each contractor. I realized there were actually much more things to worry about in the middle than I thought. I think I got confused because I was trying to take care of several things at once. Still, looking at the glass blocks that were completed after all those twists and turns now, they look so pretty and I love them 🤍 Looking only at the finished product, it seems like nothing happened, but there were heart-stopping moments like this one by one during the process… 😂
