I got a learning tower for my 5-year-old son, who has recently started wanting to do a lot of things on his own. The original purpose was for him to use when washing his face, but I think he uses it the most when cooking in the kitchen. When I'm preparing dinner after he gets home from daycare, he runs right over to sprinkle salt and stir the soup for me.
