#오감리뷰 This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the Selection Program. After moving and switching to an induction cooktop, cleaning has become incredibly convenient. However, since my kitchen is predominantly bright and the countertop is made of engineered stone, I was concerned about spices and oil splashing. In particular, if red sauce splatters on the surface and isn't wiped off immediately, it stains the surface. The most inconvenient aspect was having to clean the area around the induction cooktop right after cooking. So, wanting to reduce splashing around while cooking, I tried using the House Shield Transparent Induction Guard. The dimensions are 60cm wide, 40cm on each side, and 40cm high, so it fit perfectly on my induction cooktop. When I actually cooked, the effect was clearly visible, especially when preparing dishes with red sauces. After finishing, I noticed sauce splattered all over the guard. Thinking about how that sauce would normally have splattered onto the surface or the surrounding area, I truly understood the reason for using a guard. And after cooking, cleanup was easy; I just had to wipe away any splatters on the guard with a wet wipe or damp cloth. It was definitely more convenient since the cleaning area was reduced compared to having to search for and clean every single splatter. Assembly wasn't difficult either. Instead of screwing it in, you simply slide the guard into the space between the hinges. It can be folded when not in use, and I liked that it folds 360 degrees in any direction, so I could store it comfortably without worrying about the orientation. What I liked most was the transparent design. It surrounds the induction cooktop on three sides, and since it is transparent, it doesn't feel cramped even with a wall in front, and I liked that it doesn't detract from the existing kitchen atmosphere. These days, many people opt for open-plan kitchens that face the living room or dining area during remodeling. I think this would allow for a clean and unobstructed view in an open-plan kitchen as well.
