Hello, this is Mood Recipe :) Do you remember the 7,000 won Turtle Alocasia I showed you last time? I am recording the day I beautifully repotted these plants I brought home from the flower market. Last time, I showed you how to use a 1,000 won Daiso sink hanger; I applied the exact same method again this time. You know that hanging plant decor is possible without drilling holes, right? ✔️ Items Used - Turtle Alocasia: 7,000 won - Dwarf Orchid: 5,000 won - Terracotta Pot: 10,000 won (It is a breathable terracotta pot, so it is good for the roots) I completed a plant decor in the 20,000 won range for a total of 22,000 won. ✔️ Repotting Method Since Alocasia is known to be sensitive, I just gently brushed off the original soil, placed it directly into the terracotta pot, and filled only the surrounding area with new soil. This minimizes stress on the roots. ✔️ Hanging Method As soon as I unboxed Kongran, I took apart the hanger, and connected it by tying it with twine woven in two strands. It’s a 0-won upgrade using what I already had, rather than buying something new! And one last great tip! I hung a Daiso hanger next to the kitchen sink, and hooked the hanging plant onto it. I can't believe the kitchen can become this lush without drilling a single nail. Bringing greenery into my white & wood home makes the house feel alive. I didn't water it immediately after repotting; I finished by giving it a generous watering the next day once the soil was dry. Just in case you ask which Daiso hanger I use, I'm using a 1,000-won sink hanger. It's in the kitchen corner at Daiso. Which one do you think looks prettier, the Turtle or the Kongran?
