I chose the De Fine Highland Loop Rug because I wanted to add a warm touch to the space without drastically changing the atmosphere of my home! Since my house features a lot of solid wood furniture and bright colors, I prefer carpets that blend naturally into the existing space rather than being too flashy or having strong colors. The Highland Loop Rug features a clean design with black lines on an ivory color, so it really suits the current vibe of my home! Laying the rug in the living room changed the atmosphere of the space much more than I had expected. It preserves the warm feel of the wooden floor while naturally unifying the area where the table and sofa are placed, making the living room look much cozier and more organized. What I particularly liked was that the pattern isn't excessive. The vertical loop weave serves as a subtle accent, yet from a distance, it looks calm overall, blending naturally with the furniture and accessories I already use. Up close, the three-dimensional texture of the weave is also beautiful. I personally prefer a clean look rather than rugs that are too fluffy and long-haired, and I liked the Highland rug even more because of its simple, loop-shaped texture. It’s not too bulky to leave in the living room for a long time, and I think it’s a design that’s great for use all year round. Above all, I’m satisfied because simply laying down this rug has made the living room feel a bit warmer and more comfortable. When the sunlight comes in, the ivory color blends well with the wooden furniture, making the space feel even cozier. If you want to add warmth while naturally enhancing the atmosphere of your current space rather than making a dramatic change, I think the Highland Loop Rug would be a perfect fit. It blends in so naturally, even in a living room with lots of wooden furniture like mine, so it’s my favorite item these days! This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #OgamReview program.
