Instead of removing the upper cabinets, I planned a spacious tall cabinet on one side of the kitchen. Usually, people put the refrigerator inside the tall cabinet to keep things neat and tidy. I considered doing that at first as well, but I thought it would look prettier to preserve the design of the refrigerator I chose rather than hiding it inside the furniture. So, I placed the refrigerator independently, and constructed the tall cabinet to connect seamlessly like a single surface so that the space wouldn't be interrupted by the refrigerator. Thanks to this, the refrigerator blends naturally into the space like an art object, and the tall cabinet can be used entirely as storage space, ensuring practicality as well. What I realized while remodeling is that the methods most people use aren't necessarily the right answer for my home.
