12 Years of Living Alone, Here Are Some Huh? Comments I’ve Heard While Visiting Real Estate Agents 🤔 1️⃣ “You must have a lot of money, young lady?” (Whether it’s my father, a male friend, or a boyfriend, if I go with a man, they generally treat me as if he’s the one with the decision-making power... 🤦🏻‍♀️ 2️⃣ “Where did you learn such bad manners?” (A place where they suddenly started yelling at me after I politely asked about the commission before signing a preliminary contract... I really edited out a lot of that to act like a gentleman in the video.) There are countless others, but I’ve picked out just the two most absurd ones. Looking back, it’s both funny and sad, but meeting a good real estate agent is truly a great blessing 🥹 Looking back, it’s all experience and expertise now, but for young professionals looking for their first home, the threshold of real estate must still feel incredibly high and intimidating.
