#오감리뷰 This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the Selection Program. My home features an 11-shaped kitchen island, so the kitchen is directly visible from the living room. Therefore, when choosing kitchenware, I place just as much importance on whether it doesn't compromise the kitchen's sense of openness as I do on functionality. That is why I chose the House Shield Transparent Induction Guard; first of all, I liked that it was transparent. Even though it covers the area around the induction cooktop, it doesn't obstruct the view. This means I can still see the living room beyond the island while cooking, and the kitchen doesn't look cramped. I think this kind of transparent design definitely suits a layout like mine, where the kitchen is connected to the living room. The model I am currently using is the Transparent Induction Guard 4-Side Guard, with dimensions of 60cm (width) × 30cm (depth) × 34cm (height). This configuration is recommended for the standard size of the induction cooktop in my home. If you have a commonly used induction cooktop measuring around 60cm (width) × 52cm (depth), I recommend the 4-Side Guard. If you want to cover the area around the cooktop even more completely, you can also use an extension kit. Another feature I really liked while using it was the hinge. Perhaps because it uses top-quality hinges, it folds both forward and backward, which is actually quite convenient for maintenance and storage. It is much easier to clean and store compared to products that only fold to one side. The corners and edges are also smoothly finished, giving it a clean look even up close. I tend to be a bit self-conscious about these small finishing details, but I really appreciated this aspect. Maintenance is also quite simple. I usually just wipe it with a wet tissue, and on days when I want to clean it more thoroughly, I can put it in the dishwasher, which is very convenient. It neatly protects the area around the induction cooktop, allows you to fold it up for storage when not in use, and best of all, because it is transparent, it preserves the open feel of the kitchen. In my home, it feels like "we have added something extra, yet the kitchen remains just as tidy," so I am very satisfied with it and highly recommend it.
