How to Organize Paper Shopping Bags You Don't Want to Throw Away Many of you probably have a lot of paper shopping bags at home, right? It feels like a hassle to throw them away, but there are times when you feel regretful because you don't have a bag of the right size when you actually need one. I’ve gathered only the sturdy and usable ones, but it still takes up quite a load... I used to put them in IKEA tarpaulin pouches, but when I gathered shopping bags and cooler bags together, even that took up quite a bit of space. Most importantly, it was so inconvenient having to take everything out and rummage through just to find what I needed. I saw this method somewhere and thought, "Such a simple solution?!" So I tried it out, and since it reduced the volume and made it easier to take things out, I’m sharing it with you. 1. Select a sturdy shopping bag that is large enough to fit all your bags. 2. Cut the sides, and cut the front a little more as indicated in the photo. 3. Insert the bags, from small to large, with the handles visible from the cut side, and you're done! You can hang it in a gap like this. Since the front is open, it was convenient to take things out and use them right away.
