#리모델링하다생긴일 When you're doing interior design, there really are so many things to think about and choices to make. The entryway was no exception. I decided to build a shoe cabinet on one side and leave the other side empty because I didn't want it to feel cramped, but at the time, I hadn't even thought about building a bench. Once the entryway construction was finished, I realized the empty space felt more bare than I had expected. I felt that adding another storage cabinet would make it feel too stuffy, but leaving the space completely empty was a shame. After much deliberation, I decided to build a hanging bench in that spot. However, the problem was that the entryway construction was already finished. Since a bench is a place where people sit, it needs to be sturdily supported. If I had planned from the beginning, I would have prepared the support on both walls during construction, but I hadn't anticipated that part. Fortunately, the back wall was sturdy enough to provide support, so I decided to install it by fixing it firmly there and adding a support bar in the middle of the bottom. At first, since the construction was already finished, I wondered if I could really make it look neat, but now that it's complete, it turned out much more natural than I expected. Because the bench is low, the supports underneath are barely visible, and the previously empty space has been neatly filled, so I am quite satisfied now. I think interior design really requires careful consideration until the very end. That is because things you hadn't even thought of at the time often become visible only after the construction is finished. Even though the construction is already finished, I don't want to give up.
