#콘수프기록집 #주방인테리어 Originally, I used to keep my knives in the drawers of the lower sink cabinet, but I felt a bit uneasy about keeping the knives I use frequently inside the drawer. ㅠㅠ However, I couldn't just buy any knife block because it's a product that's always left out on the kitchen counter, so I couldn't compromise on the design! You know that feeling where having one ugly thing sitting there makes the whole kitchen look messy for no reason, right..? Haha. So, since I was buying one anyway, I wanted to get a pretty knife block, so I searched a lot ( •̀ᴗ•́ )و That's how I discovered this knife & knife block set. Honestly, I initially chose it because the design was pretty. Haha. Both the knife block and the knife handles are made of wood, so when you display them as a set, it creates a sense of unity and looks so pretty!! It blends naturally with the other wooden furniture in the house, so the best part is that it doesn't ruin the interior even if I keep it out in the kitchen all the time. ♡ Finding a pretty knife block is actually much harder than you'd think..! It's already been about a year and a half since I started using it! I use this knife almost every day when I cook haha. I initially chose it for the design, but after actually using it, I found the weight to be just right and the cutting power excellent, so I'm very satisfied and using it well (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) We also use a stainless steel cutting board at home, and I heard that knives can dull a bit faster on stainless steel due to its nature. However, if I sharpen it with a knife sharpener every now and then, it cuts just as well as a new knife again, so I haven't had any trouble using it so far haha. If I had to pick one downside, it would be that since the handle and knife block are made of solid wood, they do require a little maintenance! Rather than putting them back in the drawer while they are still wet after washing, I wipe them down or let them dry completely on a dish rack before storing them. I also occasionally apply a coating agent to the wooden handles. Haha. I think this level of care is necessary to keep them looking nice and using them for a long time. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧ In the past, I used to just keep my knives in the sink drawer, but now it is convenient to take them out and use them right away while cooking. Above all, I am satisfied because they look pretty even when displayed in the kitchen. ♡ Honestly, I initially chose this set because it was pretty, haha. But after using it almost every day for a year and a half, I realized I love it not only for the design but also for its practicality. It is a knife and knife block set that I have been using well to this day. (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)♡
