I initially bought it to organize my bags, but after actually using it, I found it great for organizing not only bags but also frequently used accessories, books, and odds and ends. I’ve already been using it quite effectively for 8 months. Especially since it's an open type, it's convenient to take out your bag when going out, and when you come back, you just have to toss it down. I found this to be a surprisingly big advantage for a home with a baby. I bought this shelf to store bags, but it ended up saving even the awkward space behind the door.
