#2026디자인어워드 #보나키아 I think good design leaves empty space rather than filling it. The ‘Bonecia Kia Table Lamp,’ which I have been using at home for two years, has been selected as a winner in the Lighting category of the 2026 Today’s House Design Award.👏🏻 When I first saw the Kia lamp, what I liked most was its design—creating a presence through the transparent acrylic shade, metal material, and light itself, rather than adding something flashy. When the light is on, it adds a soft mood to the space with its gentle glow, and when it is off, its clean silhouette remains like a single object. In particular, because the design strips away decorative elements and focuses on form and light, it seems to quietly complete the atmosphere of the space. For everyday items, I prefer designs that don't get boring even after looking at them for a long time and naturally blend into the space. Since this lamp fits that taste so well, I think I like it even more as time goes by. A design that can remain in a space for a long time, rather than following trends.
